  20. I am reading the book "Eragon". Though the beggining was very slow, the book got very good. However, I just find this book to be very unreal. I know it is a fiction book, but the odds of the boy that happens to be the next rider finding the egg that hundreds of people are searching for just doesn't sound believable. Overall though, it is a good book.

  21. Mrs. Pinney, I noticed you said you had some books you were willing to loan out. I was wondering if the book "Tears of a Tiger" was interesting and what it was about. Thank you in advance.

  34. The book I am reading is titled November Blues written by Sharon M. Draper. I highly recommened teenagers to read this book. It may not relate to you personally, but it does show the struggles and obstacles we go through in high school. Although it may seem slow at times, it was definately worth the time I took to read it.

  35. Megan that looks like a great book I've heard it's good. I am reading a book that is called "The Hollow" by Jessica Verday. It's a great suspence book and if you like mysteries it's the perfect book to read. It has a little bit of romance and a little bit of fantasy. It's a pretty big book but the type you can't put down once you start, I finished it in 3 days.

  36. I'm reading The first part last, by Angela Johnson. It's really good, I recommened it to anyone in 9th grade or higher. It has a lot of cuss words in it, but other than that it has alot of emotional parts that will get anyone to cry....:)

  47. I am reading Eldest the second book in a three book series. It is about a young boy named Eragon who found a dragon egg which hatched for him. He is thrust into a magical war as a rider between Galbatorix and his opposers. He leaves the varden for magical training with Arya, Saphira and the Elves in the Elven land. He is suffering from a back wound after being sliced with black magic sword of the Durza (who he slayed) that leaves him with cripplng pain and complicates things. It is a really good but complicated book.

  48. My book I read is a continued version of "the child called it" the best part of the book was the end. Aleksandra and Alyssa should consider reading " the lost boy".

  50. The book I read a while ago was so good and Its probably my all time favorite. Its called A Long Road Home. The book is about a young child with a very abusive mom and a dad who can't do much about it. The book grabs you from page one, with an intense scene of the mom beating her child. So many details, the words paint the picture in your mind completely. Later on in the book her mom abandons her and tells her she will be back. After not coming back for a while she becomes a nun at a church. She falls in love with a priest (not allowed) and has this love throughout the book. Near the end when she finally goes to see her real mom , she finds out that she is dead as well as her dad. The book was so suspenseful and a must read for girls and guys!

  52. This is Shayna KELLY! I just finished reading a book by Sharon M. Draper, it's called November Blues. It was really good. I'm pretty sure it was the second of the series. The first was The Battle Of Jericho. I just finished reading that too. November Blues was kind of graphic. It was about this girl named November who's boyfriend Josh died in a tragic accident that happened in the first book the battle of jericho. November finds out she is pregnant with Josh's baby, she has to deal with being a teenage mother, and the fact that Josh's parents are bugging her to adopt the baby so they can have a little piece of their dead son. It's very good. Guys and girls would both be interested in it. It's from November and Jericho's point of view. By the way Jericho is Josh's cousin. I really recomend both books to anyone! Oh and by the way I got both books from the library here at school!:)

  53. Leeann I agree with you Lovely Bones was a very good book. I seen the movie too, but in my opinion I don't think it did the book any justice. The book was sooooo much better than the movie!:) ----Shayna KELLY

  55. The book I'm reading at the moment is a Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer. This is a heart-wrenching story of a young boy who is abused and neglected by his own mother. His father lets it happen which makes him just as involved. If you aren't able to handel the sad stories, I wouldn't recommend this. Other than that, it is definatley a good book.

  60. I'm reading "The Black Cauldron" by Lloyd Alexander. It is the second in the "Chronicles of Prydain" series. It is about a boy named Taran who has to capture a cauldron to stop the evil Arawn from creating an army of his minions. So far, it is pretty good.

  62. I’m reading “Perfect” by Natasha Friend. It’s about a girl named Isabelle and she has an eating disorder, as known as being bulimic. She keeps everything about her disorder to herself because her family is going through the loss of her father. Her little sister found out and that’s how she was put into an “Eating Disorder and Body Image Therapy Group”. Overall it’s a great book I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys learning about disorders and/ or about people who have it go through.
